Girl Turns Vandy Fuckboy’s Gross, Aggressive Sexts Into A Song, Because Why Not

Gross Song

I just got wind of the lyrical musings of “GDI Productions,” wherein, they sang the slightly horrifying texts of someone who is allegedly a Beta at Vanderbilt in some type of ballad.

I truly hate everything about this (besides the vocals, which are bomb). It’s important to note, that we don’t actually know the context of these texts. It could have been one awful, sexually aggressive and borderline rapey night, or they could have been hand-plucked from a series of conversations including legitimate — though terrible — sexts, some fights, and some casual chit chat. I like to believe that there isn’t a girl out there leaking her ex-boyfriend’s consensual sexts (is nothing sacred any more)? But unfortunately, the only conclusion left to draw, then, is that there is a dude out there who’s a really misogynistic dick, and I just had to listen to his vulgarity.

In either case, I feel fucking grimy right now, and I could hardly bare to listen to the whole song. I felt like the vocalist was singing straight to me — which, kudos on being a powerful enough musician to elicit such strong feelings in someone, but honestly, I’m going to need a Xanax to make it through the night.
