There’s something to be said about humanity and our need to be social. There’s a reason that we’re the only species that’s developed actual language, extending beyond survival skills. We have thoughts and feelings that we need to share with one another, and we’ve developed a way to do that. Most people share that information with their friends. You know, people that they’ve actually met in real life. When you’re in a sorority or a fraternity, you’d think you’d be surrounded by people to whom you could tell secrets, but apparently a lot of Greeks would rather tell them to random strangers on the internet, via the app Whisper, an anonymous secret-sharing app. As I read through the Greek secrets, I saw that they don’t really sound congruent with my experiences, which I’d say are typical of most Greeks. Here’s what’s going on in the secret minds of the sorority girls and fraternity guys who don’t want to talk to their sisters and brothers.
