Attention all ’90s kids: something very big is happening. No, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are not getting back together but it’s almost as good. Hanson is making a Christmas album for all of us to enjoy. That’s right. It’s real. And it’s been almost 20 years since their last Christmas album, “Snowed In.” So it’s about time they give us something new to start jamming to on November 1st.
Producer Mark Hudson has recently been snapping pics with the
boys men on Instagram. Hudson was the director for the bands first three albums, including “Snowed In” and he’s been posting about the album’s process online. He has been sneaking in a few gems to keep fans updated. In one post, the guys are harmonizing to Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmas Time” which hopefully will make an appearance on the new album.
The band posted on their website that they are in pre-production of the album so we may not see it for a little while. It’s not planned to be released until 2017. But Hanson has already come up with a name for it. The album will be called “Wintery Mix” which has the perfect amount of cute boy band charisma to it. Apparently the band revealed that they have a few things planned for their 25 year anniversary so this new album is probably just a taste of what’s to come..
