Sometimes it’s easy to forget that police officers are people, too. They eat, sleep, and bone, just like regular citizens. Two police officers in Winnipeg, Canada, made this abundantly clear when they accidentally broadcasted a very x-rated conversation about blow jobs over the helicopter’s loudspeaker. The people below them were able to hear snippets of the conversation, which apparently had something to do with “too much body hair.”
This is like the world’s worst butt dial, and I’m so into it. Twitter obviously blew up as soon as people noticed that an official police chopper was talking about a BJ loud enough for an entire city to hear.
Umm… @wpgpolice ya might want to tell the helicopter they are broadcasting. Sounds like an interesting conversation between the 2 guys 🙂

Does the #Winnipeg chopper realize the entire West End can hear their convo about blow jobs right now? @winnipeg311 #speakerphone #whoops

@PatOndabak @afixedaddress the only other words we could discern were "….too much body hair."

That whole #Winnipeg "BJ convo while the police helo mic was on" thing? When you think about it, it highlights how good we have it in Canada

And finally…
#Winnipeg, please accept our sincerest apologies for last night's conversation that was broadcast via Air 1. #whoops http://t.co/Gvka7fTaCy

The Winnipeg police department was quick to issue an official apology soon after.
“On June 22, 2015, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service Helicopter AIR1, while on routine patrol, inadvertently activated the aircraft’s public address system. As a result, the flight crew’s conversation was publically broadcast; some content of the conversation was inappropriate.
The involved members were not able to hear the public address system from within the aircraft. They became aware their conversation had been broadcast and immediately turned the system off.”
Fuck the police, right? Well, apparently someone is. Or at least blowing them..
