Remember Honey Boo Boo? The adorable, chubby toddler in a tiara who loved chicken nuggets? I mean, we could all relate. Unfortunately, her show was canceled, because Mama June was shacking up with a child molester. Casual. TLC has always been a family friendly network and immediately took the show off air.
But now Honey Boo Boo is back. She appears to have aged 20 years since I saw her last, but Google tells me she’s only ten. Homegirl just came out with a music video, featuring her Mama June, sister Pumpkin, and a whole motley crew doing the “Honey Boo Boo Bop,” which, if I’m not mistaken (and I rarely am), is going to be the hottest dance move this fall. Whip and nae nae, who?
Honestly, the vocals are incredible, the costumes are on point, the dance moves are tight, and with the Adam Barta cameo (who? The guy in the tight, ripped jeans, not the guy who hates guys in tight, ripped jeans), I don’t see how this could be anything but a roaring success..
