Here he comes. Wind blowing through his luscious dirty blonde hair, his blue eyes are swarming with love for you, and his abs are visible through that tight white shirt drenched in sweat. All you want to do is rip off your boyfriend’s clothes, lay him down, and go at it. Unfortunately, all of that exercise your man just spent time doing isn’t going to benefit your sex life.
Weirdly enough, this is no joke. According to a new study at the University of North Carolina, dudes who are workout freaks have a lower libido than guys who prefer a light exercise. After surveying nearly 1,100 fellows who are members of running, cycling, and triathlon groups, researchers found that vigorous exercising is associated with a lower sex drive.
University of North Carolina professor of exercise physiology and nutrition, Anthony Hackney, told the The New York Times, “There does seem to be a potential tipping point” where exercise begins to effect a guy’s sex drive. However, the study also discovered that if a guy wants to be good in the sack, he should engage in moderate and light physical activity.
This can be seen as a good or bad thing.
1. It is possible that your boyfriend will lose those lickable abs if he quits being a gym addict.
2. The two of you will have a reason to get extra creative in the sheets more often. You need to help build his sex drive as well as finding a way for him to maintain that sinfully sexy bod.
Don’t just let him lie around and get fat because you think that will lead to a better sex life. That’s just stupid reasoning. However, you should make sure he still exercises, but cuts down on the amount of time he spends in the gym. That extra time that he saves can be spent flopping around on you instead..
