This morning, some grave rumors began circulating, beginning with a report from Us Weekly, claiming Kim is not happy with their marriage and is reportedly trying to “build a case for full custody of the kids North and Saint…but does not want to stay married.”
She’s allegedly been distancing herself from West for awhile, who has not been living in their Bel Aire mansion, US Weekly reports.
This all, of course, comes several months after Kim’s robbery in Paris, which was shortly followed by a mental breakdown for Kanye, leading to his cancellation of his Life of Pablo tour and hospitalization. Kim is said not to want to make any decisions until Kanye is well, and will continue to support her husband as he gets well.
I can already hear the echo chamber starting. Kim’s a shallow bitch. Kim drove Kanye insane. And now she’s leaving him when times got tough and he was no longer good for her brand, completely ignoring that being the emotional support system for someone with a psychosis, like Kanye’s doctors say he has, can range from difficult to abusive depending on the severity. As Kim is dealing with trauma of her own, it makes sense that Kanye spiraled without her to be able to focus on him.
There’s still hope, though. E! Is denying Us Weekly’s claims, saying, “she wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him.”
God, I hope..
