It is with great sadness that we are now reporting that Joan Rivers has passed away. Following a routine visit to the doctor last week, Ms. Rivers was rushed to Mount Sinai in New York after going into cardiac and respiratory arrest. She was removed from life support by her daughter, Melissa, earlier this week and is said to have been surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing.

Joan Rivers was one of the world’s greatest comediennes and is often credited with opening the doors for women in comedy. She pushed past gender barriers and paved the way for countless young ladies who would go on to follow in her footsteps. Tonight, Joan, we drink in your honor.
