I remember the best day of my life like it was yesterday. I was sitting on my couch, submerging myself in a pile of Cheetos, while my mom sat across the room watching TV. Mid-snack, I was regrettably brought back to reality by the sound of her voice.
“Hey, PSLs, this girl on TV kind of looks like you.”
In my weak state, I rolled off the couch to take a quick glimpse as to who she was referring to. My heart immediately stopped. On the screen, dancing to some absurd song was none other than Kate Upton. I shot my mother and incredulous look and she furrowed her brow.
“Well, maybe not her face. But you sort of have the same body shape, you know? Like, big boobs and longish legs.”
I smiled slightly before crawling back to my Netflix episode and Cheetos. My own mother, confused as she may be, just compared me to one of the most gorgeous models of our generation. My ego couldn’t help but inflate a little. So there you have it folks: I look vaguely like Kate Upton, and I therefore owe her my undying loyalty.

The model, sporting her flawless complexion and chiseled brows, takes a small jab at the Kardashians by saying that she looks like she has a nose job. I mean, she’s not wrong. An entire family of perfect noses? Statistically speaking, at least one of them should have a crooked nose or uneven nostril. I mean, it’s just science. Bold move, Kate, bold move. We all know what happened to the last person who picked a fight with Kim (RIP Taylor). And with the Video Music Awards approaching fast, Kim and company has the perfect stage for revenge. After all, we all know how much Kanye loves the VMAs..
