Everyone’s favorite hot mess has made it through rehab, taken the dollar sign out of her name, and burst back onto the music scene. On December 23rd at a show in Nashville, Kesha made a debut with her new band, appropriately called Yeast Infection.
They oozed pussy grunge. The guitarist donned a robe and captain’s hat, the drummer dressed in drag, the bassist wore a sailor’s hat and a maxi skirt, the keyboardist jammed away, while Kesha, covered in her signature glitter, screams what sounds like her song “Blow.” Then she takes a break to thank her fans, and the band plays a jazzy version of “Timber” that gets everyones fingers snapping and toe tapping.
While she’s been “literally dying” to put out music, there is no word on when she actually will. But this glimmer of glittery hope will keep Kesha’s fans on the edge of their slimy seats.
