Within the last couple years, ‘push presents’ have become all the rage. If you’re unfamiliar with the term, a push present is when the significant other gives the woman a gift after the baby is born as a thank you for carrying the child for nine months. Because apparently in our materialistic society, getting a baby isn’t enough.
True to form, Kim Kardashian-West takes this to the next level. Kim took to social media to discuss the idea of push presents and what she wants Kanye to get her.
“Do you guys believe in a push present? I never did, but all of my friends do!!! We have the funniest e-mail chains discussing it. One friend got a special diamond ring she always wanted, and another friend got a new car,” Kim posted.
Well, for someone who didn’t believe in push presents, she sure as hell wants an expensive one. Kim added, “This pregnancy, I would love a Lorraine Schwartz diamond choker, like the ones worn before to the Art + Film Gala. Too much? LOL!”
Valued at around one million dollars, give or take depending on the specific choker, I think it’s safe to assume that yes Kim, a million dollar necklace is too much. Maybe just be happy you were able to get pregnant again and be excited about the new baby you’ll get to raise instead of focusing on the gifts you want Kanye to get you.
Or, you know. Just continue to be shallow, materialistic, and out of touch with society. Basically, continue to be you. Whichever, really..
