Love it or hate it, you probably have an opinion about Lilly for Target. A lot of people were really upset about it, but honestly, that’s just because you’re being the brats that people think you are. Drop the pretension for a minute, and get excited, because Lilly just released its lookbook for Target, and it’s honestly incredible. It’s not just a lookbook. It’s a journey.
As we begin, we’re thrown into a modern day Gatsby party, in some person’s Hamptons mansion.
We enjoy drinks by the piano and say our hellos.
And we venture outside to lay out and party on.
And we party with the chicest (alcoholic) granny to some live music.
The whole thing is really cool. It’s interactive, so you can literally move from one room to the next throughout the party, and it feels like one smooth transition. Plus, the models are actually dancing on the site, which is honestly just fun. When you’re not too distracted by the beautiful busy-ness and visual aesthetics of it all, you’ll notice little Target bullseyes. When you click on them, you’ll find more information about a person’s entire outfit, including closeup visuals of each item, from shoes, to jewelry, to dress, to the glass he or she is holding, as well as price. The rooms are decked out in Lilly decor and the furnishings are just as incredible as the fashion.
