Lilly Pulitzer Did Something Amazing For This Teen After She Passed

Raven

Earlier this week, sixteen-year-old Raven Little-White went missing on Lake Waccamaw in North Carolina. She was found around 9:30 pm, not wearing a life jacket, and reportedly slipped and fell off the back of a boat and drowned. In light of this tragedy, there were nothing but kind words about her.

From WECT Wilmington:

“She always lit up the room and she changed my personality, she made me a brighter person and she always made everyone happy no matter what,” Jackson said.
“If we were upset, she never ignored you. She would keep up with you, she would check in with you, she would ask, she would make sure you were alright,” said friend Allie Nelson.
“She would always make me laugh, her personality was so great, everyone was just so happy around her,” said friend Morgan Rasberry.

In addition to these kind words, there was a great show of support. Western Prong Baptist Church in Whiteville was packed with people who came to grieve, all adorned in bright colors and florals to commemorate Raven’s love for Lilly.

When Lilly Pulitzer heard of this, they responded in the only way they knew how. By creating a memorial print for Raven.

The print, which features Raven’s name, will be used in items donated to her funeral by Lilly Pulitzer.
