Picture this: Lindsey Shaw in a role like you’ve never seen her in before. No longer is she the much taller BFF of her shrimpy friend Ned, who, for some reason, thinks he can write a guide for how to survive the sixth grade, despite his unfortunate stature and the fact that he’s basically anonymous in school. (Side note: isn’t that always the case in middle school? I think there was a point where I was even taller than the boys in middle school, and my growth spurt only shot me up to 4-foot-10.)
No longer is she the star-crossed lesbian lover of the high school detective/stalkee/doer-of-illegal-shit-that-no-high-schooler-ever-would-keep-from-her-parents Emily in “Pretty Little Liars.” No, it’s all about Lindsey–err–Stephanie now.
In “Temps,” the newest movie from Grandex Productions, Shaw captures the heart (or at least the balls) of Jefferson (Grant Rosenmeyer), a postgrad guy just trying to avoid adulthood by taking temp jobs so he can save enough money to go on his annual ski trip. But as is always the case, Stephanie works her magic and becomes the new most important thing to him. Bye Felicia, when the definition of “Felicia” is extended to also mean “ski trip and immaturity.” I’m kind of digging their tryst, though.
Here’s Lindsey Shaw saying “TSM”:
See how I did that? Didn’t even mention the kickstarter. Didn’t even ask you to donate to our kickstarter. Left that all up to Shaw. But, while we’re on the subject, if you’d like to donate to our kickstarter, you can do so by clicking on any of the very subliminal and not at all obvious links to our kickstarter, and help us make this film a really awesome reality..
