I hate working out, but I do it, because I like pizza and tacos too much not to do anything about the thousands of calories I regularly shovel into my body. Even so, to trick motivate myself to go to the gym I’ll knock back a glass or two of wine. And now, the largest supplier of white-girl workout gear, Lululemon, has finally figured out what I’ve known all along: booze makes working out so much better.
That’s right, ladies. On top of all of the other Lululemon crap you can buy (because yes, you totally need a $58.00 scarf to go to spin), you can, for a limited time, by Lululemon beer. The yoga retailer has launched a craft beer called Curiosity Lager in partnership with Vancouver’s Stanley Park Brewing. The beverage is made with chinook and lemon drop hops for a “crisp, cold beer.” If you want to get your hands on what is likely the overpriced version of a Bud Light Lime, however, you’ll have to head north of the border – the beer will only be available at the 2015 SeaWheeze Sunset Festival and Half Marathon in August in Vancouver. Your only other option is heading on up to liquor stores across Canada to get your hands on these bad boys.
Interesting idea, but I think I’ll probably just stick to chugging a bottle of sparkling Moscato before yoga class..
