Sorority tumblrs are a weird phenomenon that only began early May 2014, when the school year was just winding down. What lives happily under the guise of a “recruitment tool,” is really just a way for sororities to prove to the world that they are the HOTTEST and MOST FUN group of women with an expansive knowledge of Lana Del Rey jams.
Sorority tumblrs aren’t cool. Fraternity tumblrs are cool. To date, we’ve only been graced with two fraternity tumblrs. One was honestly just really hot, and the other was far too serious, thus emotionally confusing.
A year later, and we have Michigan State SAE, another incredible group of men, joining in. And good God, it is everything. It’s a mixture of loving photos/memes mocking sorority tumblrs and hedonistic fraternity photos of guys pissing themselves and crushing beer cans against their skulls. The combination is simply delightful.
