Last night “The Voice” — you know, the show that gets your mom on Twitter once a week to say #VoiceSaveAdam — had a visit from coach Miley’s fairy godmother, Dolly Parton. S’cute. Along with Pentatonix, the pair performed Parton’s song “Jolene” a cappella.
Incredible. Miley singing “Jolene” is the best Miley and has been ever since “The Backyard Sessions.” This performance has solidified Miley’s transformation from Hannah Montanna into something fab. She had a little rough period in there, and I did like her best right before she became the girl who has to let everyone know that SHE SMOKES WEED. But she’s toned down her looks a little, grew out her hair a little, but still maintains her new, colorful, sparkly, over-the-top edge.
And in case you’ve never seen this, you MUST.
