Greetings from the new North Pole, aka Maryland, USA. We, as well as the rest of the US, have been facing subzero temperatures, blistering winds, and a phenomena of dumbass people throwing boiling water outside. For whatever reason, they think this will make snow, when in reality, most just end up burning and embarrassing themselves. Whatever. At least they felt warmth.
Anyway, while we’ve been living as if we were characters in The Day After Tomorrow, the most perfect man on the face of the Earth, Neil Patrick Harris, has been vacationing in Mexico with his equally perfect family. To celebrate his last day in paradise, he tweeted that he was holding a margarita drinking competition…with himself. He made sure we all kept up with this legendary match by tweeting and instagramming himself with whichever drink number he was on.
How amazing does that look right now? Lounging on an outdoor couch, margarita in hand, soaking up the sun, BEING WARM?
This picture is all the evidence I need to prove my theory that Neil Patrick Harris and I are soul mates. We both love margaritas, we are both the life of the party, and we’re both beautiful. Ugh.
Why am I not there again? IT JUST LOOKS SO WARM AND AMAZING. Hell, I’ll settle for NPH adopting me as his child at this point, like, I just need Mexico and him in my life right now.
How many times has this happened to you? One too many drinks and you’re passed out on the ground? I know for me, this is almost a weekly occurrence, but I don’t look nearly as peaceful or perfect, and it’s never on a beach, usually just in my kitchen after crying about how Bobby doesn’t love me, while shoving pizza in my mouth.
Neil Patrick Harris has taken what sorority girls live for, drinking and Instagram, and raised the bar so high it seems hopeless to try and compete. Well, you know what they say, if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. So, Neil, if you ever need a best friend, nanny, 21-year-old adopted daughter, or just another competitor in your marg drinking matches, I’ll be here in this winter wasteland, trying to remember what normal temperatures feel like.
