Your wedding is supposed to be the most special day of your life, right up there with having children. If one day you woke up and couldn’t remember that it happened, wouldn’t you want that memory back?
Justice Stamper suffered massive memory loss after a car accident that almost ended her life in 2014. Her car was hit so hard, it shot 50 feet off the road. She survived the accident, but it left her with massive holes in her memory of things that happened before the accident. One of those things was her wedding day.
Even after looking at photos and videos of the joyous occasion, she couldn’t remember a thing. As her physical wounds heal, some memories from before the accident still remain a mystery.
Justice’s husband, Jeremy, knew how badly his wife wanted to remember her wedding day. Since he couldn’t bring the memory back himself, he decided to just “do it again.”
He started a GoFundMe to raise $5,000 to help cover the cost of this second perfect day. He called it “Stamper Wedding Round 2,” and he vowed to make this day a day his wife can look back on and remember for the rest of her life.
It’s pretty depressing that there’s a guy out there who gave his wife a second wedding and I can’t even get a guy to text me back. Ugh.
