As the holidays approached this year, I found myself in a dilemma. I’m single, so I wasn’t really sure what to do for my annual holiday card. Should I send a simple card with just a message wishing everyone a happy holiday? Or perhaps one with a picture of the only male who’s been faithful to me (my cat)? Instead, I got a little bit resourceful and created a card that featured a collage of pictures of all the great places my friends and I went this year. I felt pretty proud of my originality…until I learned about Bridget.
Apparently, Bridget is one of five children–and the other four are married. According to her brother, as the holidays approached in 2010, Bridget’s parents “decided it would be awkward to have a Christmas card with just one daughter in it, so they cut Bridget out of their Christmas card.” So Bridget decided to send her own card. However, not content to send any old card, she took it to a whole different level. Here are Bridget’s cards from the last few years:

Bridget, if you see this, drop me a line. I could use some ideas for my card next year, and I have a feeling you’ll know just what to do..
