Perpetually Single Woman Sends Out Hilarious Christmas Cards Featuring Just Herself

About this time last year, I told you about a woman who was a hero to us single ladies everywhere: Bridget, a single woman who owned her unmatched status in a series of hilarious holiday cards.

In case you missed it, here’s the story: Bridget is one of five children and the other four are married. As the holidays approached in 2010, Bridget’s parents “decided it would be awkward to have a Christmas card with just one daughter in it, so they cut Bridget out of their Christmas card.” In other words: her parents are unfeeling assholes who like to single-shame their daughter.

But Bridget, being awesome, wouldn’t let her parents’ insensitivity keep her from sending an amazing holiday card. So for the last few years, she’s given the gift of holiday greetings that all of us single ladies can identify with: one was signed “love, bridget, just bridget” and featured her knocking back a bottle of wine. Another featured our hero in a canoe with a male mannequin with the tagline “sailing into 2015 with love and loneliness.”

And now, courtesy of Bridget’s brother on Imgur, we have 2015’s card:

I don’t necessarily get the chicken, but I do get Bridget. And all I want for Christmas is to be her best friend (and get on her Christmas card list).
