You’ve heard of people shaving their heads in support of people with cancer before. It’s all the more admirable when the person they’re supporting is a child. It’s a brave decision to compromise the way you look for a good cause. It shows the victims of cancer that people are there to support them, and that they’re not in this alone.
Ronald, a 9-year-old New Jersey boy, has cancer, and is currently being treated at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey, home to the Rutgers Knights. A group of Sigma Chis at Rutgers took it upon themselves to support Ronald in his fight against cancer by shaving their heads in order to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.
Good for you, Sigma Chi. I would have gone for the full head shave, but that’s just me.
