Like most of us, Scottish filmmaker Ryan McHenry was pretty obsessed with Ryan Gosling. So much so that McHenry became “Vine famous” for a video series entitled “Ryan Gosling Won’t Eat His Cereal.” In each clip, McHenry holds up a spoon in front of a TV playing different Gosling movies, making it look like he was trying to feed the actor cereal.
According to Gossip Cop, McHenry hoped to get Gosling’s attention with his videos, telling the Verge, “As a filmmaker, I like to have a conclusion to things,” he said. “The only conclusion I can see out of this whole thing is to have Ryan Gosling respond to this. Even if it’s just him eating cereal.”
Well, McHenry finally got his wish, even if it came a little bit too late. McHenry recently died at the age of 27 after suffering from osteosarcoma, a type of cancer that originates in the bones. After learning of McHenry’s death, Gosling decided to pay tribute to the man who kept trying to feed him. First by tweeting his condolences.
My heart goes out to all of Ryan McHenry's family and friends. Feel very lucky to have been apart of his life in some small way.

And then by joining Vine and doing the one thing that McHenry had been trying to get him to do. Ryan Gosling finally ate his cereal.

And this is why we all love Ryan Gosling (aside from his abs, of course)..
