Sarah Hyland Is Having A Post-Emmys Shameover

Sarah Hyland Is Having A Post-Emmys Shameover

The worst thing about any party isn’t the hangover, but of course, the shameover — the memory of whatever embarrassing thing you did that just haunts you All. Day. Long. In the worst case scenarios, there is recorded evidence of you looking like a fool in public, so that the memory may live with you forever and ever. There’s no recovery. There’s only Twitter, giving you an outlet to at least acknowledge that you were, in fact, an asshole.

Which is exactly what Sarah Hyland did last night after the Emmys. The “Modern Family” star got her princess powers on last night, when she made moves like this one.

And this one.

And the media could not get enough of it. And Sarah wanted to die.

I just want to hug her. It’s so strange to see a celebrity — these superstars, who we imagine to have superpowers, and the super ability not to feel sad, or angry, or embarrassed — to be so vulnerable. But at the same time, it’s really not that bad. She took a silly picture, and if that’s the worst thing she did at the awards show, I say, she’s in good shape.

Plus this gives me hope that whatever embarrassing shit I did this weekend really wasn’t that bad.
