There are tons of reasons not to go out. You have an 8 a.m. class, there’s a test tomorrow, and you got picked to DD AGAIN. Well, I can’t do anything about the first two, but now you never have to be sober sister again because Uber just slashed prices in over 100 major cities in the U.S. and Canada.
As with all good things, there’s a catch here — this price reduction is a seasonal change, so take advantage of these lower prices while you still can. Uber sees a decrease in business during the winter months, because let’s face it, it’s cold AF outside. All you want to do is stay in wearing footie pajamas, and who’s going to put on seven layers just to go out to a bar? To help make up for this lack of traffic, Uber’s temporarily lowered their prices, giving the drivers more of an opportunity to make some cash and giving you one more excuse to put off that group project and head downtown.
Save the pledges from a night of torture, save yourself some cash, and hop in an Uber to go out tonight. Who cares if it’s only Tuesday? You’re in college. I’m sure your 8 a.m. econ professor will understand tomorrow. Probably..
