Target Is Dropping A Line Of Cheap Wines This Weekend

Target

Everyone knows that Target runs are a hazard to your bank balance. You go there to buy $5.99 tampons and you leave having spent $126.84 and you don’t even know what in the hell you bought. Well, if Target has their way, one of the things you will be unintentionally buying on your next trip is their new line of wine.

The retailer is introducing its “California Roots” brand of wine, and here’s the best.news.ever: each bottle will only run you 5 bucks. Available on this Sunday, September 3rd at stores that currently carry alcohol, the line will include five blends: chardonnay, pinot grigio, moscato, cabernet sauvignon, and a “red blend” (whatever that means).

In a press release , which even tells us what to pair with each bottle.

From Target’s senior vice president of food and beverage Jeff Burt:

We’re out to give our guests even more reasons to love Target—including exclusive products they can’t find anywhere else. And we think they’re going to love California Roots—these wines are just the right blend of incredible quality and amazing value that guests can only get at Target.

Guess I know where we’ll all be this Sunday.
