As I scrolled through reality TV stars’ Instagram pages last night, wondering where they get their cute clothes and how they can have such fun lives as I binge watch seasons of GIRLS, I stumbled across Miss Lauren Bushnell. Famous for “winning” Ben Huggins season of The Bachelor and getting their own spin-off show, Happily Ever After on Freeform. I watched one episode and realized that there was no chance in hell that there would actually be a happily ever after for these two. Both cute, but not compatible and clearly miserable. But I must have been in touch with the reality TV gods because just by looking at her social media presence, I knew. They broke up.
How did I know? Go ahead and look for yourself. Lots of pictures in skimpy outfits, at music festivals, hanging with the girls, all ploys to make your ex jealous and wonder “what the fuck is she doing?”
But of course, nothing is set in stone until you see in written in the Bible of entertainment, E! News. But here we are, a day later, with the E! News exclusive statement from Ben and Lauren.
“It is with heavy hearts that we announce our decision to go our separate ways. We feel fortunate for the time we had together, and will remain friends with much love and respect for one another. We wish nothing but the best for each other, and ask for your support and understanding at this time.”
AWWW WHAT!? You mean to tell me for the 609th time that you can’t really find love on reality TV!? Although it does make me sad because I’m sure they are both heartbroken, it does make me feel good to know that true love doesn’t exist, and that means my ex and his girlfriend will surely be the next to break up.
At least they both got famous out of it, it could be much worse. They could be single and poor. Just like me..
