Delta Phi Epsilon at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville just put on what is perhaps one of my favorite philanthropy events to date. “Deepher Dude” is a male beauty pageant with proceeds that go to Anorexia, Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD). The intro video is a touching testament outlining the effects of eating disorders on young people. The fraternities on SIUE’s campus all participated.
Okay, yeah, and that’s all good and fine. But the best part? The Deepher Dudes did their pageant in full drag.
DPhiE raised $1300 for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders at this event..
