Well, it’s that time of year again, folks. Through a difficult and rigorous selection process (no, seriously, there is one), the Princeton Review’s 2015 edition of the “The Best 380 Colleges” has given us the infamous “Top 20 Party Schools” list. Here we go, and may the party odds be ever in your favor.
- University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign
- University of Iowa
- University of Wisconsin-Madison
- Bucknell University
- Syracuse University
- University of California – Santa Barbara
- West Virginia University
- University of Georgia
- Tulane University
- Colgate University
- Lehigh University
- University of Mississippi
- Pennsylvania State University – University Park
- University of Florida
- Florida State University
- Ohio University – Athens
- DePauw University
- University of Vermont
- Miami University (of Ohio)
- College of Charleston
In case you were wondering, you can go Greek at all of these fine institutions of higher learning. Because obviously.
The administrative folks at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign of course are none too pleased with their leap from #5 last year to #1 this year, with University spokeswoman Robin Kaler saying it painted the university’s students in a bad light: “They are serious, they are hard-working, and to try to present them as being somehow irresponsible is insulting,” she told the Chicago Tribune on Monday. Because apparently you can’t be serious and hard-working and still have a good time.
The Princeton Review contains sixty-two other lists, including most beautiful campus, best food, and most politically active. But let’s be serious, we all know that there is the only one list that matters. To everyone else, better luck next year, losers..
