There’s A Giant Penis Running Around Trying To Teach People About Safe Sex And It’s EVERYTHING

There are two ways to learn about safe sex. Sit in a boring class while some teacher who obviously doesn’t want to be there tells you about the birds and the bees,

or dress up like a giant penis, run around the city, and squirt golden confetti on unsuspecting people. Yeah. The second one is the way to go. One genius company is doing just that. Involve! advertising agency in Norway thought that the best way to teach folks about sex was the make a campaign that was “fun, exciting and a little naughty.” And boy, did they succeed.

If that isn’t the best thing you have ever seen, you need to reevaluate your life. According to Mirror, people over the age of thirty were pretty freaking pissed about this whole thing. I’m not sure if it was the fact that 19-year-old Philip van Eck would run up to them when they least expected it, the fact that he was dressed as a giant dick, or because he would squirt golden confetti on them. Either way, they weren’t pleased.

Still, for younger people (and for us) it’s amazing. The tagline of the project was “Tiss kan overraske” which basically means “Penis” or “urine” “can surprise you.” Once people got over the shock, they all wanted selfies and were dying to come up and stroke the schlong. Philip said that “Suddenly, lots of people wanted to touch the penis and take pictures with the penis. I almost felt harassed.”

Honestly Norway, you’re killing it. America, let’s get our shit together. Maybe if we start sending giant penises to do boring teachers’ jobs, more people will be STD free. Plus, it’s a great Instagram opportunity. Don’t deny us the safe sex and the likes. Give us our walking penises, and give them to us now.
