There’s Actually Vodka That’s Good For Your Liver, So Start Pregaming Immediately

Vodka

While it’s pretty well known that sorority girls (and, well, college students in general) will drink pretty much anything, there’s always our go-to and our golden standard – vodka. If you haven’t worked your way up to red wine and tequila makes your clothes fall off, vodka will always be there for you to mix with Crystal Light, Diet Coke, or literally any other beverage you can find. Unfortunately, drinking too much is bad for your liver, which is why you have to lie every time your doctor asks you how many drinks you have every week (“Uh….like, one or two. Max.”). Not anymore though, because there’s actually now a vodka that does less harm to your liver.

This is not a drill. Company Bellion Vodka is utilizing something called NTX technology. For you organic chemistry majors, this is the only alcohol you can buy in liquor stores containing a glycyrrhizin, mannitol, and potassium sorbate blend. For the rest of us, all you need to know is that this magical combination of chemicals is way easier on your liver than the Burnett’s you’ve been drinking.

The company started in Nevada and is now available in 15 states. The website allows you to check if there’s a distributor nearby. If not, no worries – the company plans to hit all 50 states soon, or you can pay a little extra to have it shipped to you through a third-party distributor. No matter how I have to get your hands on this vodka, you’d better believe that I’m about to pick up a case, because now that I no longer have to feel bad about my hard liquor consumption, it’s on.
