There’s Finally Going To Be A Bar Where You Can Drink With Your Cat

Researchers Basically Just Said That Being A Cat Lady Is A Good Thing

There’s a stigma in the media today about girls sitting home alone drinking wine with their cats. While we may be #foreveralone when it comes to human company, those of us with pets know that there’s nothing like curling up with a bottle of Riesling while petting your favorite fluffy friend. Sometimes, however, that’s not possible. You may live in a dorm or other rental housing that hates you and doesn’t allow you to have a fur baby. However, that’s no longer going to be a problem because you’ll still be able to drink with all of the cats your heart desires at – wait for it – the first ever cat wine bar.

The Denver Cat Company has taken the current trend of cat cafes to the next level and will be opening its first ever cat wine bar in Colorado. Here, you’ll be able to order food or wine by the glass while snuggling up with the cat of your choice. It gets even better: all of the cats at the Denver Cat Bar will be adoptable rescues, so if you fall in love with your forever best friend over one too many glasses of prosecco, you can take him or her home to cuddle up with you while you drink wine in bed any night you wish. It’s unclear whether the wine bar will allow patrons to come wearing pajamas or pull up your Netflix queue, but apart from those two items, it sounds like the place of my dreams. The bar’s scheduled opening is TBD, but you can bet as soon as we find out, I’ll be purchasing a one-way ticket to Denver.
