When I was little, all I wanted to be when I grew up was a princess — more specifically, a Disney princess. I didn’t really understand that there were still real princesses in other countries, or that I’d have to be turned into a cartoon in order for it all to work. I just wanted to hang out with Ariel, and Jasmine, and Aurora, and be among fictional elite. Now that I’m an adult, I’ve realized that there are probably too many pictures of me making out with people to ever be actual royalty, but I can still look like a Disney princess. Kind of.
