When is the best time of the day to have sex? Trick question. The answer is never, am I right, ladies?
But if for some strange reason you actually want to have sex, or if your boyfriend did something nice and you’re feeling generous, the best time to get it on isn’t in the morning or late at night — it’s smack dab in the middle of the day at 3 p.m.
Hormone expert Alisa Vitti came to this conclusion after discovering that 3p.m. is when women and men are the most hormonally compatible.
From Daily Mail:
In the afternoon, women have high levels of the hormone cortisol, which helps alertness, and are at their most energetic.
Around the same time, men have elevated levels of estrogen, making them ‘more emotionally present’ during sex.”
So based on this incredible scientific finding, 3 p.m. is not only the optimal time to bone, but also the optimal time to ask your FWB if would ever want to be something more, or ask your boyfriend if he could see you two being together forever, or any guy in your life what he really thinks of you. At the very least, 3 p.m. is the time to ask your guy to go down on you for more than sixty seconds.
It makes sense, because honestly we’re all miserable bitches at most other times of the day. In the mornings, I’m so grumpy and annoyed that I have to get up that putting forth the effort to have sex is literally the last thing I want to do, and I’m pretty much always running late. If I have an extra five minutes, I’d rather spend it doing my hair or actually putting on makeup than working my ass off to get him off. At night, I’m exhausted and I probably ate too much pasta at dinner and I don’t want to have to pause my Netflix to have sex.
That basically leaves the afternoon. Girls probably don’t want to have sex then either, but they don’t completely not want to have sex. That’s something.
So go on and tell your man to clear his schedule at 3 p.m. if he wants to get it in. Trust me, he will. .
