Steve Harvey Announces Wrong Miss Universe Winner

Wrong Miss U

If you didn’t just watch Miss Universe, you missed out. You missed out hard. Long story short, Miss Colombia was super confident — bordering on cocky — for most of the show, and Miss Phillipines was an adorably nervous wreck. And then in the final moments, Steve Harvey announced Miss Colombia as the winner, when really, she was the first runner-up. And it was the craziest thing I think I’ve ever seen in my life. If you missed it, here’s the video, which may or may not be removed from YouTube shortly.

The quality is shitty, and I recorded in the wrong direction, but I literally just deleted every app on my phone to make sure I had room for this. It’s better than nothing.

Steve Harvey didn’t even say goodnight. My girl RP coming in hot with some live intel of the event.

Thankful for this moment in 2015.

Steve Harvey issued an apology about the whole incident.

It sounds sincere, but something seems a biiiiit fishy, doesn’t it? Either way, those ratings were on point.
