So I bought a Lilly dress in hotty pink and am now looking for a pair of heels to dress it up for when I have grad school interviews, but I’m kind of stuck on what color to look for. I doubt I will want to (or be able to) match the pink and the other color in the dress is white, and I cannot bring myself to do white shoes other than espadrilles. Would nude be acceptable or do I need to go for pink/white? If you ladies have any suggestions I would love the link :)

NUDE PUMPS, so great. Something with a heel that’s not too high.

Dolce Vita has some great ones.

I agree with 1772. Nude pumps are classy, and look great with other dresses too. I think it would look more sophisticated than the pink and white 🙂 But that’s just my opinion!

I was looking at bid day shirt designs online the other day and was very unhappy to find one that was styled after Ed Hardy. Just…no.

Yeah I saw that…who in their right mind would wear such a thing. So embarrassing.

what do you all think about the “boyfriend” style jeans? what would you wear with them to make them look cute/feminine?

You’ve got to pinch roll the bottoms, wear them with a cute tank top (preferably floral to maintain your femininity), and either an adorable blazer or a coordinating cardigan. I would also wear them with a pair of oxfords or the ever classic boat shoe. Oh and make sure the tank is not too baggy/ loose because that would not be a super flattering silhouette.

thanks! i love the cardigan/tank idea!

Why would you wear boat shoes when you’re not near the water? I will admit that I did this when it became a huge trend in 8th Grade, but i would never do it now.

Daisy, if I recall correctly, you’re not even in college yet, so why would you have any idea what people wear? Stop trying to be a little brat on the internet, it is very unbecoming, and no one likes a judgmental little high school girl. If either of my sisters were acting like this and posting on this site, I would personally deactivate their accounts. Also if you’re so “srat” and rich, what kind of pep school did you go to where boat shoes weren’t in every girl’s closet?

I have to agree. Starting my sophomore year in college they became the rage on campus. You just admitted to being a high school brat. Get off this website until you get a bid.

Then keep caring then. I don’t like surrounding my Monday nights (or any nights for that matter) watching TV when I could be doing something else way more interesting.
