    1) That is really NS. and 2) Everyone knows an easier option is to either use nailpolish remover or purell. I used to always keep a small bottle of purell in my purse when I was <21.

I actually wondered that, ThetaPhi. I see all these posts on the TFM wall about serving, but never on the TSM wall. I know there had to be some great greek ladies out there serving; I can name a few from my school! It is nice to see a lady who took the leadership skills, ability to function as a team/group and work ethic she learned from greek life and apply it to keeping civilians safe. Thank you for your service!!!!!

On another note, yes, I can relate to being frustrated with this website being “as stereotypical as possible.” I once submitted the TSM: “One year out of college, I landed my first promotion at work, am halfway done with my MBA, and was elected Vice President of my sorority’s alumni chapter. TSM” and it got rejected. Sadly, this website feels that being smart or serving our country is not a TSM!

    Srat on ThetaPhi!

I think I know what she means, it took me a few read-throughs to understand. During recruitment you get rush crushes, look pretty for girls, and in a twisted way, flirt with girls. She is comparing those actions to those of a lesbian….

I love reading TSMs that glorify going to school for something besides getting a MRS degree. Snaps to you PearlsRN!!

I assumed as such TFTChawk, but I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt before I started getting preachy. Honestly dating someone higher up than you in the company is one of the worst career moves you can make. My company, for example, has a very lenient policy on company dating. The only rule we have is we aren’t allowed to date “direct reports”. There are plenty of company couples in my company, but most of them are across departments (ie I am an accountant dating an engineer, another accountant dating someone in IT, etc.). It gets bad when you break up and/or people start to question whether you got where you are because of your brain or body.

That is just my input. Good luck!

Please tell me that the new internship resulted in the credits and the new boss DID NOT result in the new boyfriend…

I know! The hometown dates episode was so boring and repetitive, but I couldn’t bring myself to turn it off!

I have a chevy too, it didn’t turn on when my big sat in the passenger seat (she is barely 5 feet and around 100 lbs). We actually used to joke about it and we went as far to look up in the owner’s manual what the threshold was; it is 100lbs. I think it depends on your car’s manufacturer.

You can actually order “light” versions of caramel, mocha, java chip, etc. frappuccinos. Also ask for it to be made with skim milk. Essentially it is half the calories (400+ calories for a grande versus around 200). Just some “food” for thought 🙂
