A salon near my house has started doing shellack manis! They have SOOO many colors and my roommate has kept hers PERFECT for over three weeks (and one of those weeks was spent working on a mission trip, so you KNOW her hands have been through some roughness). Shellack is totes amazing!
For my brother and I, it was UNACCEPTABLE for us to throw fits out in public (or at home, either). My parents taught us from day one that we were to be respectful and mind our manners. Obviously, children are going to act up, but if you set high standards and EXPECT them to be met, they WILL (more than likely) be met (this goes for your own children, for your students, etc).
Hopefully, the OP isn’t delusional enough to believe her kids will be perfect from the womb…
Oh my stars! I was painting something for VBS today and got black paint ALL OVER my hands (defective spray can). 2 of my nails were caked in black paint. I didn’t know whether to be more sad over ruining my fresh mani OR over having black nails. I immediately thought of this TSM post and had to come share my lament. An hour of scrubbing with Goo Gone and all is well again…but that was a really long hour!
No way! The way Lucas went off after her Bentley confession was NOT ok! I can’t believe that he got so angry and vented all about her to the other guys. It was highly disrespectful. As annoying as Ashley is, she doesn’t deserve a guy turning on her and trashing her in front of his buddies.
JP has been my fave this whole time. He is always so sweet and kind to her and the way he stood up for her (in front of the other guys) was totally admirable. He has my vote!
Which type of poser is worse: high school girls or geeds?
I know of a girl in community college who poses like she’s in; She posts TSMs, she retweets SGPs, and generally just brags and says things for the sake of sounding sratty. Bless her sweet heart. She’s a beautiful girl, but…It’s just starting to annoy me. My letters mean something. Don’t act like you’ve earned something you haven’t!!
