    Girls, I need help!

I left my favorite Lilly croakies in Euro this summer and now I am trying to buy a new pair but they are sold out everywhere! Does anyone know of a store that still has them in stock?

    http://allthatjas.com/shop/accessories/lilly-pulitzer

This is the greek store on Elon University’s campus. They don’t have Lilly croakies but they have a bunch of other adorable Lilly products as well as plain croakies with your letters. All That Jas serves the Greek system of several campuses so it’s not just Elon sororities!

And thanks for the reply about crewcuts!

The chapel hill all that jas closed while I was abroad last semester and I was so disappointed 🙁

^^This, according to this site, everyone not in a fraternity/sorority is a geed, but I only use it towards people who dislike the system

^^I’m really attracted to the ideas of Miami, UVA, USC, UGA/GT/Emory, Georgetown/GWU, and as a wildcard, NYU, and I doubt I would wear the Lilly to the NYU or Georgetown/GWU interview. I’ve always perceived it as a very southern brand so I think it would be better received somewhere like Georgia or South Carolina. I was planning on wearing the dress with a nicer, dressy cardigan but DG’s comment made me think and now I’m planning on finding a black blazer with camel buttons (though I can see where camel buttons might not look great against black) to tone the dress down but still go with the pumps if I decide to go that route.

So I bought a Lilly dress in hotty pink and am now looking for a pair of heels to dress it up for when I have grad school interviews, but I’m kind of stuck on what color to look for. I doubt I will want to (or be able to) match the pink and the other color in the dress is white, and I cannot bring myself to do white shoes other than espadrilles. Would nude be acceptable or do I need to go for pink/white? If you ladies have any suggestions I would love the link :)

NUDE PUMPS, so great. Something with a heel that’s not too high.

Dolce Vita has some great ones.

I agree with 1772. Nude pumps are classy, and look great with other dresses too. I think it would look more sophisticated than the pink and white :) But that’s just my opinion!

You’re wearing a Lilly dress to an interview? That is not professional or appropriate.

You totally might be right, I’m just against suits and I always feel like dress pants are frumpy. Its a grad interview so I’ll want to show some personality. I mean sure the hotty pink is bright, but its my color and kinda describes me in a way I think would be good for grad school. Even if it were a job interview, I don’t want to work somewhere that won’t have me because I wore something colorful, and I bet you don’t either.

During my recruitment, there were days where I didn’t have time for lunch, so I ate just about everything I was given. I felt disgusting after my 10th serving of m&ms or trail mix, but it was better than nothing haha.

These are my own personal fashion rules:*Chacos: Hiking ONLY!*Rainbows: Running errands.*Any other dressier sandal: class, out to dinner, etc.*Heels: more formal events.*Norts: class but no more than twice a week.*Soffees: gym ONLY!*Oversized Tees: gym or w/norts*Shorts/Skirts/Dresses have to be an appropriate length*Tote bags: either sorority related or Vineyard Vines*Purses: doesn’t matter as long as it’s cute

Now I know some people were hit hard by the recession so knockoffs are acceptable if you cannot afford the more pricier clothing. Pearls, on the other hand, should be 100% real, trust me the splurge is worth it. Also you should think about investing in a nice watch.

I can agree with this. Leggings are a staple, especially in the colder months. Everyone in Tennessee pairs them with Uggs. Plastic sunglasses (usually bright colors) with croakies are also popular here. Pearl earrings are nearly an everyday occasion, even with norts. I personally hate wearing tennis shoes, so i usually wear flip flops (sorry guys) and i think chacos are cute to class. I live in East Tn (alot of mountains), everyone wears them on my campus because walking around campus is like a hiking trip in itself. Personally, dresses are my favorite. I really love Forever 21′s dresses and I usually always wear a cardigan over them. Being a cheerleader for 12 years, I’ve accumulated a TON of soffee shorts and some people say they are NS, but what sport is more sratty than cheerleading? Soffees are cheerleading shorts! But still, i usually only wear them to the gym or to sleep in. I love side satchel bags, especially for going out. Northface jackets are a must, I have 3 in various colors. Sperry’s are essential. I don’t have any vera bradley bags, but I do love my i.d keychain. Northface backpacks are big at my school too. I also have a kavu bag, which is kind of for hiking, but seeing as how my school is very outdoorsy, they’re pretty popular… thoughts on kavu bags anyone? OH. and I love toms!! :)

Also being from East TN I agree with most of that except the Uggs. I’m looking for some warm boots to wear to class but not from middle school. Any Ideas? I wear my pearl earrings with everything and I have also been looking for a good pearl ring but not sure where to start looking?

I’m from NC and hoping to use my cowboy boots to keep my feet warm during the winter if that helps 🙂 PanLAM
