They’re your sisters now. Get them to go to the gym with you. Encourage them to be healthy. Invite them shopping with you so they learn by example. There’s no point in letting a pack of women that will hate your chapter loose on campus, particularly if they’ve already shared your ritual. Work on molding them into srat stars of the future.

    You’re absolutely correct, Daisy.

    You’re a girl.

You are clearly neither a lady nor a sorority woman.

Calling these women bottom tier is proof of that.

You come across as a petulant brat in desperate need of an extra year in high school and/or finishing school. Perhaps you should spend time working on the blatant defects in your personality in preparation for ACTUAL rush, rather than criticizing women who have already been deemed worthy of letters.

I love Nordstrom’s cashmere scarves, they are my fall/winter must have! I get a few new ones when the weather cools off, I just picked up two new colors: sangria (pretty berry color) and blackberry cordial (deep purple) this weekend.

That blackberry cordial scarf is amazing. Excellent call.

We really need to start posting polyvore sets on here.

The last time I checked the Bachlorette was mostly the viewing fare of women and sassy homosexuals, therefore I would venture that I’m not the one elbow deep in a greasy, loose hole.

You never know, she could go on to receive her DNP or DNSc and become a pioneer in improving patient outcomes or clinical safety. Nurses with terminal degrees are leading the charge in improving the standards of patient care.

Personally, I’m shooting for my doctorate in Public Health, but I’m hesitant to write off any profession – any dedicated individual can make an impact.

Seriously. If you’re going to recruit the expert sandwich making skills of the ladies of TSM, you better ask for something worth making.

Asking us for a turkey/swiss/mustard on white is like asking Michelangelo to detail a ’93 civic.

The denial of gender is more of a postmodern construct adopted by radical feminists than the more traditional first, second and even to some degree, third wave feminism. There is a huge divide between what a postmodern feminist believes and what first and second wave feminists believe and fought for.

Furthermore, conservative feminist is not an oxymoron. Typically conservative feminists push for school vouchers and are pro-life. There are also libertarian feminists, etc.

All that feminism implies is the basic belief that there should be equality between the sexes – different schools of thought under the umbrella of feminism interpret the accomplishment of that differently.

Interestingly, sorority women were by-in-large behind the feminist movements of the early 20th century – this new generation of educated women fought for women’s admissions into professional societies leading to greater political clout and the passage of the 19th amendment.

But ummm….way to write off the accomplishments of many of the panhel women that came before us.

Awe Fratrick, you can’t really fault her for not wanting to head off to the nearest science department to haul off with an electron microscope so she can locate it in the first place. That’s a lot of work for a little beej.
