Lacrosse in NC is very stratty. My high school colors were purple and gold, so naturally I wore a different purple bow to school on days we had home games. I wish it was as popular in AL where I live now!
Longchamp or Herve Chapelier are both fine choices for everyday/school bags – if they’re monogrammed, even better! Vera Bradley is reserved for either the junior high/high school crowd, or the middle aged crowd…although their duffels are fantastic.
I personally think Chacos are heinous, but I do understand regional trends – they’re just not big where I am. Rainbows, Jack Rogers, and Sperrys are my standard shoes. Norts are fine in moderation; I can’t stand it when I girls don’t have any personal style and just stick to oversized T’s and Norts every single day. Tie-dye is fine for fun event T’s but I would never buy something tie-dyed at a store.
As far as jewelry, Yurman is great but a little overplayed in my book. There’s nothing wrong with owning beautiful jewelry from local designers or shops; it adds more personality to your look than just wearing the same stack of Yurman cable bracelets. Pearls are the perfect earrings, and I must say, Michael Kors knows how to make a great (and relatively inexpensive) watch. Oh, and can’t forget Ray-Bans – I love them all, from Aviators to Clubmasters to Wayfarers!
I agree 100% with all this! I don’t understand the Yurman fascination…I’d prefer an $800 ring to look less like costume jewelry. A lot of my sisters wear it, just not for me though.
I think your name is so clever btw! I’m not a tri-delt, but I love it!
I agree Love Lilly, but the whole point of this post was supposed to be “in your face” -ish.
The only Lilly item I own is a little case for my camera, and no one is on my case to buy anything else.
I feel like the TSM wall is getting a littleeee out of control…
Seems more like a diss to God for messing with what He gave you…
What is your problem? Clearly you never listened to anything your mother, or probably anyone else for that matter.
hmm…sounds…great…
I was going to say the same thing!!
haha this is totally true!! TFJ!
This might be crass, but ‘I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell’ always makes me laugh. David Sedaris is also a great, hilarious read.
oh I loved ‘Something Borrowed’!! did Emily Giffin also write ‘The Help’?

What is wrong with you? That’s a completely horrible and not funny thing to say.

Haha true statement! Bar bathrooms are so gross!
agreed. I’m so tired of the “I’m so cute when I act like an uneducated moron!” comments.
You can find something wrong with ANYTHING, doesn’t mean you have to though. This is HILARIOUS and I do believe Tucker Max would agree.
realizing your potential. TSM
