There’s a space for you to type in your college/university. And underneath that you set its state. So if you go to UGA (for example), why would you put the state as Ohio? That doesn’t make any sense. Unless maybe you transferred from Ohio to Georgia. Identity crisis much?
I’ll admit, I’ve noticed that Vera Bradley’s popularity is very regional. It happens to be very popular at my school. They had a print with owls that was a hit with the Kappas and Chi O’s here. And of course the KDs love them.
It’s warm here so we wear a wide variety of sandals. Rainbows for the Greeks, Chacos for the Geeds. For the record, J. Crew sells both Rainbows and Sperrys. Not Chacos though…
I’ve never seen Boat and Totes anywhere in my state.
Even if you don’t have a lot of money, every sorority lady should be able to accumulate some function shirts, plastic sunglasses and Norts. You should invest in pearls, a Vera Bradley tote and rainbows to carry you through your time in college. Get at least one function dress and trade/borrow with your sisters if you can’t afford a lot of dresses. And on your Christmas/birthday list, put oversized Longchamp bag, Vineyard Vines tote (they make sorority prints), Jack Rogers sandals, Yurman ring, and anything from Lilly Pulitzer (preferably your sorority print or color)!
Ditto this! But I want my kids to have a French or German au pair. Not for parenting reasons, but because it makes it so much easier for them to learn foreign languages. And it’s a great way to employ young ladies!
You’re right, I should have worded that more clearly:
Being in a society that celebrates your immigrant ancestors. NS. Being in a society that celebrates your patriotic ancestors. TSM.
Honestly, I haven’t burned myself on an oven since I was 12. And I bake at least weekly. I guess I’m just careful. Being a science major and having lab skills probably helps. Better keep practicing!
Rude! I think that Michelle Obama is very stylish in her Ralph Lauren, Alexander McQueen and J. Crew ensembles. By comparison, Laura Bush needed an emergency wardrobe makeover because too many people were calling her “frumpy” when her husband first took office.

I only wear Essie nail polish, but I’ve heard good things about O.P.I. I’m partial to soft ballet colors, but Essie’s Flawless looks great with my sundresses: http://www.essie.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=189
Tie dye is not okay.
Yep!
Hand-whipped cream is always better! Love this.

@Pi Beta Princess, isn’t that what online shopping is for?
Omg mine too! Haha.

Love it!
Aw, this is precious! Love.
I buy my Lilly at a boutique by the beach. You have to enjoy the experience! 🙂

J. Crew sells Rainbows.
Hahaha, good point.
^Ditto! With a smile, too.
