I’ve always really loved anything that allows us to watch a person become more beautiful. Be that transformation weight loss shows, before and after plastic surgery photos, or my own face after I’ve applied my real face. It’s just sort of incredible to me how much you can physically transform yourself. This is (one of) the reason(s) that Photoshop is endlessly fascinating to me.
Detractors claim it’s mostly a negative thing — that photoshopped images set an impossible standard for beauty. That might be true. In fact, it’s definitely true, but regardless, can we just marvel at this incredible GIF of a supermodel as she’s photoshopped?
