Woman Stages Photoshoot With Something Much More Important Than An Engagement Ring

In the world of engagement-photo mocking, I really thought that I had seen it all. I’ve seen girls who had engagement-style photo shoots with dogs, burritos, and pizza. While it’s all well and good to mock the ridiculously staged photos that every engaged couple tends to take, one woman from Long Beach, CA took it to the next level. She staged her “engagement” shoot not with any ordinary basic girl favorites, but instead used something much more important – the offer letter to her new job.

37-year-old Benita Abraham works in healthcare administration. She had been job searching for seven months when what she refers to as “my soulmate, my perfect match, my boo” came along – “the perfect job with a company that truly cares about its employees and one I will learn so much from.” To celebrate, Benita told The Huffington Post that she staged a photo shoot in an effort to “share my good news with friends and family in a fun, creative and silly way that reflects my personality.”

And why not? Finding the perfect job is just as important as finding the perfect mate. Congrats, Benita!
