We’ve all seen them. Those annoying, mood-ruining, depressing charts that littered our newsfeeds. No matter how much you tried to avoid them, you couldn’t because they. were. everywhere. You know what I’m talking about. Those “What Happens To Your Body An Hour After You Drink A Can Of Coke” charts. Obnoxious “fit” friends shared them on Facebook saying that they were “so glad that they gave up soda like five minutes ago.” You didn’t care, because who actually drinks full-calorie Coke anymore?
Ugly people. And you aren’t an ugly person.
So you let it go. But then, they decided to screw with the soda’s hotter, better sister. After releasing an attack at Diet Coke, people got pretty mad. Obviously. Multiple articles went on to disprove the facts saying that soda doesn’t exactly do what these graphics claim.
And they were right.
So I decided to create an accurate version of the viral chart, because honestly, it’s time the world knew the truth about Diet Coke.
