Much to our dismay, the theme of the next season of “American Horror Story” has remained a complete and utter mystery. Thanks to the demented folks at FX and the show’s villainous creator, Ryan Murphy, we’ve been flooded with fake theories, teasers, and potential themes for the new season of our favorite show. The only problem? We have no idea what is real, what is fake, and what we’ll be seeing come the show’s release date on September 14.
But now it seems that Rotten Tomatoes has spilled the beans.
The incriminating information has since been removed from the website, but as we all know — what happens on the internet, stays on the internet. Does this mean that all of those creepy mist-related trailers were real? And what about this one? The one *actually* titled “The Mist”?
To be honest, I’m not sure if this is some massive mind-fuck or if someone actually messed up and leaked the theme. Either way, as long as I get some quality Evan Peters time in in two weeks, I’ll be happy. Scared, but happy..
