Ellen Hangs Out With DG At Columbia And Gives Them Some Money, Because She Loves Sorority Girls

Ellen Hangs Out With DG At Columbia, Because She Loves Sorority Girls

For awhile now, we’ve been noticing the mutual infatuation between Ellen DeGeneres and the ladies of Delta Gamma. At the beginning of this year, Delta Gamma at Oklahoma University made a tribute video to the Queen of Daytime trying to convince her to go through recruitment. Then, after the ladies of Delta Gamma at Butler University had an “Ellen DeeGeeneres” themed skit day, Ellen featured them on her show. And now, it’s the Delta Gamma Chapter at Columbia University’s turn.

During her recent #EllenInNYC shows, the hostess with the mostest surprised the chapter with a chance to play “Cash at Your Dorm” to win money for their organization.

DG’s president was asked a series of questions and more money was added to the prize pot for each question she got right. Kayla Farrell, the chapter’s president, answered every single question correctly, earning the chapter some cash and a large television – and a surprise visit from her mom. Of course, this being Ellen, there was another, big surprise at the end – DeGeneres gave the chapter $10,000.

Now, I’m not a DG and I adore my sorority, but if Ellen keeps on giving DG chapters all the love, I’m going to get big-time jealous. Ellen – let’s spread it around, ‘cause we’re all obsessed with you.
