Rappers looooove to rap about all the money they have (except maybe Tyga, for obvious reasons). When thinking about money and rappers, I’m reminded of a line from our national anthem, “Trap Queen,” when Fetty Wap says “I’m living fifty thousand K how I stand though. If you checking for my pockets I’m like hey, wassup, hello.”
And as it turns out, he wasn’t kidding about the 50k. On Wednesday, Mr. Wap showed up to a New Jersey municipal court with $165,000 to pay a $360 fine, just in case he had to pay the fine over 400 times, I assume.
Fetty had four motor vehicle fractions, but told reporters he couldn’t remember what the charges were:
“I got like 12 BMWs, I got like four Ferraris, I got 17 Mercedes. And I’m a millionaire before I turned 26.”
Humble brag, but I totally understand where he is coming from. I got like, one Toyota Corolla. And up to $2,000 in my bank account, so I get the struggles, Fetty. JK. When I get a $100 speeding ticket it ruins my week. So I don’t get it at all, but it must be nice..
