Port Aransas Banning Alcohol For Spring Break

Spring semester has just begun, which means I’m choosing to believe spring break is basically here. Port Aransas certainly thinks so, as the city has recently moved to ban alcohol on its beaches for spring break. The current ordinance bans alcohol between the hours of midnight and 7am on weeknights, and midnight and noon on weekends, but the plan for “those two weeks in March” is still being hammered out. Spoiler: it’s going to allow for less drinking, not more.

You know where there isn’t a drinking ban? The TSM Spring Break trip. In fact, it’s all inclusive, so there’s all the drinking you could possibly want. Just saying. So if you want to have the worst spring break of your life, go to Port Aransas. If not, you know what’s up.
