Talking about sex to some people makes them uncomfortable. And for the most part, it’s fine. If we feel weird chatting about balls to our granny, that’s acceptable. If we’re not down to talk about going down to our siblings, that’s understandable.
But do you know who shouldn’t feel weird about sex talk? Universities. Sure, college is the place to rack up an absurd amount of debt gain a valuable skill set. But that doesn’t just mean we get this knowledge in the classroom. We get it from our friends, our experiences, and from all of the extra resources our schools have to offer. And one of the most important things to learn about in college? Sex. Love making. Reproduction.
So for the past 9ish years, Trojan (like the condoms, not the wooden horse) has created a “Sexual Health Report Card” for the universities across the country. They reviewed data from 140 different colleges (covering every state in the nation as well as the District of Columbia) to see which schools offer the best sexual education.

Researchers collected extensive data via student health center representatives, along with follow-up secondary research on those centers and services they provide on campus. Student health centers were graded on services across 11 categories:
• Quality of sexual health information and resources on website
• Contraceptive availability — free or at cost
• Condom availability — free or at cost
• HIV testing on-site (On/off campus, cost)
• STI testing on-site (On/off campus, cost)
• Lecture/outreach programs and student peer groups for sexual health education
• Sexual assault programs, resources or services
• Overall website usability and quality
• Hours of operation
• Allow drop-ins or require appointments for student scheduling
• Extra credit

Still, schools have gotten a lot better at educating us horny assholes. When the study was started in 2006, the average “GPA” was 1.9 but now, in 2015, it’s a 3.0. And remember guys! B’s get degrees, and hopefully not STDs!
When glancing at rankings, however, it looks like Oregon is the place to get laid. Who woulda thought? And to everyone else who didn’t score as well, may the herpes odds be ever in your favor. .
